Jeff is a Colorado wood and metal work artist whose creative process is rooted in respect for natural materials and the stories they carry. A graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art, Jeff draws on his formal art education to merge design principles with the organic qualities of wood.

Believing that every piece of art is inherently unique, he approaches his craft as a dialogue between artist and material—allowing the grain, texture, and imperfections of each piece to guide the outcome. His work celebrates the beauty of reclaimed and locally sourced wood, transforming familiar resources into forms that evoke warmth, authenticity, and a sense of place.

For Jeff, art is not just about creation, but about connection—between the artist, the material, and the viewer. Each work invites reflection on how creativity and sustainability coexist in the world around us.

I am currently working with the following wood sources:

Tigerwood from a floor we removed from an older home

Walnut and Cherry from a Television Set Building Studio that was downsizing

Clean cedar left over from a home construction project

Crown molding we removed from a remodel project

Douglas Fir leftover from several patio construction projects

Aged wood from next to my neighbors shed

I love to use 

Materials that have a significant sentimental value to you. Like 

maybe wood from your Grandpa's old shed or Grandma's old kitchen table, etc.
